Au Revoir

To my family, friends, fans, and supporters:

Good morning, and I hope you've all had a great week so far. As for me, a lot has happened at home. I've been focusing on the upcoming school year along with preparing myself for the next several years of my life as a student and adult. Realizing that the school year hasn't even started and I'm already struggling with staying on top of the blog, I have come to the conclusion that continuing this blog is no longer in my best interest.

From a few events that have recently occurred, I've learned that growing up has much to do with understanding ones priorities and being able to sacrifice some things that we love, but may not be ready to handle. In my case, this blog is one of the sacrifices I have to make to focus on things that are more important. It hasn't been easy for me trying to juggle time with family, school, friends, sports, work and the blog, and as much as I enjoy it, I know it is the best thing for me to do at this time.

To the person reading these very words on the other side of a computer screen, thank you. Thank you for your support and the time you have spent following my blog, I'm beyond grateful. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to experience the things that I did while pursuing Kitana's Closet. Every email, comment, like, website visit...seeing all of those made me enjoy doing what I did. And to those who have seen me person and have said "Hey! Aren't you Kitana's Closet?" oh my, I can't explain the amount of joy that I felt when YOU recognized me. Those moments made my day!

Goodbyes are never easy, and I'm not saying goodbye forever, but I am saying goodbye for now. I hope this little piece of my journey has been just as enjoyable of an experience for you as it was for me, and I hope you won't forget about Kitana's Closet as I will never forget this part of my life that was given to me by all of you.

Red, White & Blue

Hello, hello! ðŸ‘‹

I've finally gotten the chance to write on my blog after a couple of weeks of continuous travel--packing, leaving, coming home, unpacking, repacking...talk about a messy closet! I hope everyone had a safe and spectacular 4th. As for me, I spent the 4th with friends at Haller Lake in Seattle. It was actually the first time I had gone on a road trip without supervision.  ðŸ˜…

Being at the lake really brought out my outdoorsy side (I mean, sort of). There was so much to do: kayaking, boating, jumping off the dock, climbing the treehouse, volleyball, and the list goes on! Definitely not heel friendly. As the night grew darker, we took the Livingston further out onto the lake for a view of the fireworks and the reflections couldn't have been more magical.  I would have to say, it was one of the most eventful 4th of July I've ever celebrated!

Below are the images of my patriotic, casual-wear look. I'd love to hear how you spent your 4th, so share your story as a comment below! I hope you enjoy.   ❤
