a few of my favorite things

I know I didn't get the chance to actually blog in my last post, but that just means I get to outpour on this one!  To start off, I certainly have been enjoying basking in the sun, which is super exciting for us PNW folks since grey skies is all that we've been seeing for the past few months.  I mean, as much as I like rain, sunshine definitely puts me in a better mood.  As for school, I've been jam-packed with studying.  I am continuing my third quarter of calc and finally starting up my chem classes again!  Being able to jump back into chemistry is extremely exciting for me since I am wanting to pursue Chemical Engineering, and of course, I just love the subject all-in-all (especially being in the lab!). In addition to the academic part of school, if you didn't get the chance see on my Instagram (which you should def follow for daily updates), I am proud to announce that my cheer team, for the second year in a row, took first place at the WIAA State Cheerleading Championships!

At times, I surprise myself when I think about how I am able to juggle school, practice, sleep, and yet still have a social life.  There are times when I pull all-nighters on a school night just to get ahead on schoolwork so I can cheer at the basketball games and spend some time hanging out with my friends.  Sometimes, the time I have for friends are used to catch up on much needed sleep.  But hey, a girl has to do what a girl has to do, right?

On another note, here are some of the images from last weekend of what I wore to my last TOLO, the Bejing Ball.  For the event, I  teamed up with Lulu*s once again.  You can view other collaborations I have done with Lulu*s HERE, HERE, and HERE.  Since this was my last TOLO, it was only fitting to wear a few of my favorite things:  bows, sequins, and pink.  This wasn't hard to find at all through Lulu*s--and as you can see, I found the perfect sparkly gold sequined dress, and paired it with blush suede pumps, and a bow box clutch in blush, all from Lulu*s.  To complete the look, I wore my own fuchsia coat for a pop of color, and gold rhinestone necklace.

Now, time to continue on with my day consisting of a performance for my high school's annual Battle of the Sexes assembly and cheering for the girl's basketball game.  I hope that they get the "W" tonight because this is one of the last few games before regionals!  Enjoy your day. <3
